St Giles Southkey is directly connected to Mid Valley Southkey Mall, with its own dedicated entrance and private lobby. This direct access is perfect for avoiding the heat or rain while moving between the hotel and mall.

Our Stay – Urban Twin Room
We stayed in the Urban Twin Room, the most affordable room type. Despite being the base-level option, the room was well-equipped and clean, offering everything you’d expect from a modern four-star hotel.
Key Room Features:
Carpeted floor – clean with no unpleasant odors.
Comfortable beds – crisp white linens, two pillows per bed, and individual reading lights.
Samsung Smart TV – easy access to Netflix and YouTube.
Functional desk with mirror – doubles as a dressing table and includes a multi-outlet for global plugs.
Closet with extras – includes a bathrobe, safe, and scale.
There’s also a small sofa by the window, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view outside.
Water & Amenities
The room includes an electric kettle, but note that bottled water is not provided directly. Instead, guests receive a reusable, sealed bottle (marked disinfected), which can be refilled at the hallway water purifier. Since the bottle was wet inside, we opted not to use it and instead purchased mineral water from the basement mart in the mall.

Facilities
Swimming Pool – relatively small but offers a fantastic sunset view.
Fitness Center – surprisingly large and well-equipped. It wasn’t crowded during our visit, and the panoramic view of Johor Bahru from the gym is stunning.
Breakfast
The breakfast area is spacious but can get crowded during peak times. The buffet offers a good variety of Western and Malaysian dishes, and overall, the quality is decent for the price.
